The race runs from Iron River to Ashland with the majority of the course run on the “Tri-County Corridor”. The Tri-County Corridor commission has promised that they are doing bridge work this year to repair two of the bridges that run through the area of the race. We are changing the scheduling of the actual grooming of the course to allow more time to have it packed by the motorized vehicles making for a more firm surface. The course also depends on the weather and the affects from rain or drout, but please know the course is a top priority.

This year the line up will include the Pasta Feed and Packet Pick-Up on Friday night!! The Pasta Feed is back and each full / half marathon runner receives a free ticket to the pasta feed. The Breakwater Restaurant will be prepairing our “Pasta Feed” this year. Race Day starts early and so does the Post-Race Celebration. Music and food in the large heated tent will be offered all day and into the evening with a Brews & Blues celebration in the evening.
