Anderson Race Management is a full-service race management and timing company dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for runners, walkers, bikers, and event organizers alike. With years of expertise in organizing and executing a wide range of events, from 5Ks to marathons, we specialize in delivering seamless, well-organized events that inspire, challenge, and celebrate every participant. Our team is passionate about every aspect of race day—ensuring top-notch logistics, advanced technology, and a personal touch that helps bring every event to life. Mary Anderson
After thousands of hours logged as a volunteer and a race official, Mary Anderson left the corporate world of accounting and gathered her skills and her gear and formed Anderson Race Management in 1996. Mary’s been involved with thousands of National and Local races and currently works on over 200 events each year ranging from 50 to 10,000 participants throughout the Midwest. Mary currently serves on the Board of Directors for Minnesota Festival and Events Association, People for Parks and the Twin Cities in Motion Race Committee.

Jennifer Williams

Director of Events
Jennifer came to Anderson Race Management with 19 years of experience in non-profit programs, fundraising and events. Her expertise is race logistics and all things related to permits. She is your “go to” for all items needed to make your race day run smoothly. When not working, Jennifer likes to go for walks with her dog Blaze, travel and spend time with family and friends. Jennifer also enjoys attending her kids activities that include watching her daughter dance at St. Thomas football games and her son play hockey and baseball.
Mary Cich

Mary has been in the outdoor events business for most of her career. Her events have ranged from car racing on ice series to music festivals and other large-scale outdoor events. She worked for six years as the Director of Health Promotions for the American Lung Association of Minnesota, developing and managing fundraising bike rides, giving her the bike ride logistics experience she brings to ARM. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors as an avid gardener, hiker and lover of all things nature. She shares her life with her musician partner Pancho, two cats, and a rambunctious pit bull.

Karen Lechtenberg

Social Media Manager
Karen came to Anderson Race Management in 2020 and manages the Social Media and promotion of all our events. She is a full time Science teacher and mother of four boys in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Karen has been an avid cyclist and trail runner for the past 20 years. She has also been a Race Director and Event Planner for 18 years in both Nebraska and South Dakota.
JENNY BORGMAN
Jenny Borgman brings a wealth of experience and energy to the ARM Staff. Before joining our team, she worked in event management with Twin Cities In Motion, where her dedication first began as a volunteer. Prior to her work in events, Jenny spent 25 years in the printing industry, eventually serving as an assistant manager overseeing a team of 200 employees. Her extensive background in operations, logistics, equipment management, and event execution makes her an invaluable asset to the ARM Staff.

Alan Jones Timer Award Winner - Mary Anderson
The Alan Jones Timer Award recognizes an individual race timer who has shown exceptional efforts and who has had a significant positive impact on the endurance race industry. Anderson’s 28 years in the industry demonstrates a steadfast focus on the endurance space where she has played a fundamental role in responding to the shifting forces and trends in the industry. Anderson’s race management company now serves 200 events a year throughout the Midwest and provides comprehensive race management services in addition to timing and scoring events.
