Reebok Ragnar Adirondacks

Reebok Ragnar Adirondacks

Saratoga Spa State Park (map)

Reebok Ragnar Adirondacks kicks off in Saratoga Springs where runners are immediately immersed by the beauty of upstate New York. Teams of 12 (or 6) head north and experience views of Saratoga Lake, the Hudson River and simple countryside. At appropriately named Million Dollar Beach (Lake George) runners find a place to sleep (?), relax, swim, and admire the sunset with friends. Lit-up vans, costumes and a billion stars overhead come together to create an unforgettable night run that you can only experience at Ragnar. Special to this race, those who tackle the hardest leg on the course up Tongue Mountain will be rewarded with extra Ragnar bling. On Saturday, the whisper of crisp air fills your lungs as you run through the golden light of Aspen trees and up the southern side of Lake Champlain. Your team will finish like champions at Lake Placid, the home of two Winter Olympic Games. Discover what it means to find your inner wild on Sept. 22-23. Your sore legs won’t last, but your memories will.

Reebok Ragnar Adirondacks is part of the Double Medal Series. Run Reebok Ragnar Cape Cod and Reebok Ragnar Adirondacks, in 2016, and earn the Nor’easter Double Medal.

The Darkest Night 4K

The Darkest Night 4K

Bunker Hills Golf Club (map)

On any given night, there are more than 6,000 homeless youth in the State of Minnesota and many of them are right here in the north metro suburbs. When the darkness of night sets in, the young people are staying in shelters, couch-hopping or sleeping on the streets. HOPE 4 Youth, a nonprofit that provides pathways to end youth homelessness in the north metro Twin Cities, is raising awareness of the plight of the young people by bringing the community together for the second annual “The Darkest Night of Your Life 4K.”

Participants will experience many of the same things as homeless young people – darkness, loneliness, cold and quiet – while they run/walk the 4K “4” homeless youth, as well as raise funds for HOPE Place, HOPE 4 Youth’s new transitional housing program. HOPE Place is one of our long-term solutions to ending youth homelessness and we need your help to keep the doors open so that the homeless young people who call HOPE Place home can learn the skills necessary to become independent, self-sustaining adults.

*The first 1,000 participants to register will receive a swag bag provided by Target which include a water bottle, flashlight, shoelaces, energy bar, lip balm, icy hot, lotion, energy drink packets, sports towel, travel pillow and sweat bands.*

Run Like A Girl 5K

Run Like A Girl 5K

Here's the thing: When women run for office, they win at the same rates as men. And when they win, they tend to be really good at their jobs.

  • Female politicians are more likely to say they entered politics because of a specific policy concern, which means they're focused on actually getting stuff done.

  • They are more likely to sponsor bills, and women tend to keep their proposals alive longer, even when they're in the minority party.

  • They're more likely to reach across the aisle.

  • And if we learned anything from Senators Collins & Murkowski in the healthcare fight this summer, it's that female politicians are more likely to have a damn spine. (Okay, this last one isn't a sourced fact, but c'mon: you know women saved health care.)

So, basically, we need more people to run like girls.

Join MSP NOW and The Progressive North for the Run Like a Girl race, where we'll raise money for WomenWinning, a Minnesota-based organization that encourages, promotes, supports, and elects pro-choice women of all political parties to all levels of public office.

McDowell Mountain Regional Park (map)

Ragnar Trail McDowell Mountain – AZ, presented by Salomon, is the overnight desert trail running adventure that southwest runners cannot miss. Held in the McDowell Mountain Range, just northeast of Scottsdale, teams will conquer the course at McDowell Mountain Regional Park.

With over 50 miles of breathtakingly diverse trails, this area provides majestic mountain views, epic desert flora and fauna, and some seriously fun trails! Swooping descents, rocky climbs, and smooth star-lit, sandy washes await you and your team. You may even catch a glimpse of the elusive Javelina while you are serenaded by the songs of howling coyotes during your run. With one of the most transformative sunrises in the series, this course will not disappoint! Cool desert air at night, warm, clear sunny skies during the day, and miles of epic trail running are all part of the deal!

Ragnar in Paradise

This is the one you've dreamed of: Ragnar in paradise. Make no mistake, you'll have plenty of hills (volcanoes) to climb, but the views — oh, those ocean views — will make it all worth it.

Here's what we've done to make the ultimate Ragnar even better in 2017. Both exchange 18 and the finish line are located at the majestic Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, making it easier for your team to make arrangements for a couple nights of luxury. You're also invited to the Pre-race Party where you'll enjoy drinks, Hawaiian food, and live music at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

Come feel the warm embrace of the aloha spirit. Gather your team and come discover hues of blue that you never knew existed. Come pay your respects to Pele – the volcano goddess. Come for the challenge of running through 7 of the world’s climates in 200 miles and conquering more elevation than any other Ragnar course. Come feed your hunger for adventure, and leave transformed.

Prepare to raise the bar for your sense of wonder.

Ragnar Trail Los Coyotes - CA Presented by Salomon

Los Coyotes Reservation (map)

The Los Coyotes Reservation is a trail running oasis in the California high desert. Located about an hour and a half outside of San Diego, the trails at Ragnar Los Coyotes - CA presented by Salomon will take you on a physical and spiritual journey, into an alpine wonderland of junipers, pines, and oaks, and to mountaintops where you will experience views of the Anza-Borrego Desert to the east and layers of beautiful mountain ranges to the west. We're proud to with work the Los Coyotes Tribe members who developed the trail system and are updating the course for 2017 to make it more accessible. While the course will be easier, Los Coyotes still has the 2nd-most elevation gain in the Ragnar Trail Series. Any runner can do it, but there will be hills. All three trails start and stop at Ragnar Village where you can expect camping, s’mores, a bonfire and billions of stars overhead. Rally your team of 8 (or 4) members and enjoy the WILD air, call out to your spirit animal and find what makes you feel young, spirited and free.

Ragnar Trail Los Coyotes-CA is part of the Double Medal Series. Triple your bling in 2017 by running Reebok Ragnar So Cal and Ragnar Trail Los Coyotes-CA and earn yourself the highly exclusive Southern Ragnar Republic medal!
