DON’T MISS OUT ON THE BEST WASATCH BACK EVER

Reebok Ragnar Wasatch Back is the race that started it all. This 200-ish mile overnight running relay begins in Northern Utah in the city of Logan and traverses across the back of Utah’s rough and tough Wasatch Mountains. Teams of 12 runners (or ultra-teams of 6 runners) tag team miles across three mountain passes, next to alpine lakes and past fields of wildflowers. When the sun sets, billions of stars, lit-up vans and glowsticks light the night. Teams finish together like champions at Solider Hollow, UT, the home of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Learn for yourself why so many runners have Ragnar stickers on their car, or come back and do it bigger, better and faster than before.

Run Reebok Ragnar Wasatch Back and another Ragnar in the Rockies — Reebok Ragnar ColoradoRagnar Trail Zion-UT or Ragnar Trail Snowmass-CO — to receive the new Mountains Majesty double medal.

Reebok Ragnar Pennsylvania

Reebok Ragnar Pennsylvania

Stauffer Park (map)

Reebok Ragnar Pennsylvania begins in the history-rich city of Lancaster, with its preserved architecture and old city charm. Teams will navigate rural roads and gentle rolling hills during this 200-ish mile overnight relay. As you chase the sun, you may start to wonder if you have traveled back in time as you pass horse-drawn buggies and hard working Amish folk tending their fields and creating homemade treasures. Runners will breathe in the clean, crisp country air as they run along a sea of corn and wheat fields in Pennsylvania’s Dutch country and farm communities. As the sun sinks below the horizon, stars will inspire a sense of wonder and help each runner find their inner wild. Runners will push north to the finish line in the Poconos Mountain resort area where the route weaves back and forth over the Schuylkill River and through the quaint town of Jim Thorpe. Don’t miss the chance to round up a team of 12 (or 6), and run across Eastern Pennsylvania’s most beautiful countryside.

Kannonball Fun Charity Rally

Kannonball Fun Charity Rally

Automotorplex (map)

2017 Event is Sold Out!

My name is Tyler Christopherson. I am a lifelong automotive enthusiast. Cars are my passion in life. In 2008, I co-founded "MN C&C" which has grown into the largest "Cars & Coffee" show in the country. However, there is something that I am even more passionate about: My family.

My youngest daughter, Harper, is deaf. She has been a student at Northern Voices for over 3 years now. She’s about to graduate from their preschool program and begin Kindergarten this fall at a mainstream school. This wouldn’t be the case without this amazing school. That’s why I’m donating a portion of the proceeds of this rally to Northern Voices. Northern Voices is a very special school. They teach deaf children, aided with cochlear implants and hearing aids, how to speak and listen! This is a privately funded school that receives nothing from the state in terms of educational funding. They rely solely on grants, donations, and tuition.

The Kannonball Fun Event: On June 3rd 2017, at 11:30am, the third annual Kannonball Fun Charity Rally will depart the MN Cars and Coffee car show at the Automotorplex in Chanhassen, MN. The route will be approximately 300 miles, multiple checkpoints, challenges, and exciting roads. The Kannonball will end around 6pm that evening. This is a great chance to meet fellow auto enthusiasts that share your automotive passion. Come be a part of something special!

About National Cancer Survivors Day:

National Cancer Survivors Day® is an annual, treasured Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities nationwide, and around the world, on the first Sunday in June. It is a CELEBRATION for those who have survived, an INSPIRATION for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of SUPPORT for families, and an OUTREACH to the community. On National Cancer Survivors Day®, thousands gather across the globe to honor cancer survivors and to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be fruitful, rewarding, and even inspiring.

It is a day for everyone, whether you're a cancer survivor, a family member, friend, or medical professional. This day provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer – including America’s more than 15.5 million cancer survivors – to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship in order to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors’ quality of life.

Snowmass Resort (map)

Ragnar Trail Snowmass-CO presented by Salomon brings you the perfect fusion of trail running, high-country camping, and Rocky Mountain beauty. Teams of 8 (or 4) will find their inner wild on three separate mountain trails, or “loops" that start and finish at Ragnar Village. Glacial valleys, snowcapped peaks, and blooming wildflowers set the scene as you make your way along rolling single-track. Though you may blame the altitude, in the end it will be the stunning mountain views that take your breath away. Conquer each climb and you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness — not to mention a much needed downhill. Enjoy world class lodging at Snowmass, or camp under billions of stars with your team at Ragnar Village. We can’t promise it will be easy, but what we can promise is an unforgettable running adventure with friends complete with s’mores, fresh mountain air, and a party atmosphere that Ragnarians have come to love.

Ragnar Trail Snowmass-CO is part of the Double Medal Series. Run both Reebok Ragnar Colorado and Ragnar Trail Snowmass-CO and earn the Rocky Mountain Fever Double Medal.

You then loop back onto the Singing Hills trail finishing your run with views of Sakatah Lake off to your right. This is a timed event.

The alternative 5k: When off road running is not for you, this is an easier more leisurely option. The alternative 5k is an out and back on the paved Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail through the beautiful Sakatah old growth forest. This event IS NOT timed.

The 10.5k follows the road around Lake Sakatah.  Just before the 4th mile the 10k goes off road for a ¼ mile before connecting you with the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail and dive deep into the heart of the park finishing the last leg of your run surrounded by the beautiful green forest. This is a timed event.

The 11 mile bike ride follows the road around Lake Sakatah then continues east up a long steady hill for the first 7 miles.  Before looping back and connecting with the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail. Helmets are required to ride in this event. This is not a race, official times will be given.

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers for each race. Excluding the alternative 5k.

Gordon Memorial 5k/Family Fun Walk is organized as part of our annual Good Neighbor Days Event. In 2014 one of our runners coined The Gordon Memorial 5K "small-town race with big-time heart!" The course is run exclusively by volunteers.

The 5k terrain is challenging and we do not recommend strollers. Please be aware some of the course is sand, some is gravel and some is blacktop. We offer 2 water stations throughout and bottled water at the end of the race. Some great features include plenty of parking, runner bag pickup is easy & quick with lots of cool stuff in them, online registration is incredibly convenient, the race is chip timed and runners registered before June 5th are guaranteed a shirt.  Last year shirts were sized a little large. We are going with similar shirts, however that is not a guarentee they will be sized the same.

Gordon Memorial Family Fun Walk.  Bring the Kids!  Bring the Strollers!  We are working on updating the course this year.  This walk is not timed.  Register BEFORE June 5th to be guaranteed a shirt!  We will kick off the 5k @ 8:05 as usual & we will kick off the Family fun walk at 8:15.

Ragnar Trail Rainier - WA Presented by Salomon

Ragnar Trail Rainier - WA Presented by Salomon

Crystal Mountain Ski Resort (map)

Ragnar Trail Relays presented by Salomon is heading back to the Evergreen State! Our new venue (which will replace Ragnar Trail Cascades), is located at Crystal Mountain, less than two hours from Seattle. Dubbed Ragnar Trail Rainier-WA, this race features views of mountain lakes, Mt. Rainier and fresh-scented evergreen trees. Grab your team of 8 runners (or ultra-team of 4 runners), and get ready for an unforgettable overnight trail running relay. Not sure how it works? Teams start Friday, and run relay-style, on three different trails, or “loops,” through the night, and into Saturday, until each member has completed all three loops. When you’re not running you’ll enjoy the party-vibe at Ragnar Village, roast s’mores, camp under billions of stars, sleep (maybe), and wait for your turn to run again, and again. Ragnar Trail Relays are like summer camp for adults, with lots of trail running, and no curfew. Mark your running calendar for Aug. 18 -19, we’ll see you at Crystal Mountain!

GRATITUDE

“The Lady” has been running since 2005! Given that I planned to do it just once, I think celebrating Lucky 13 with a theme of Gratitude is appropriate. Specifically, I am grateful for the myriad new and wonderful people in my life, the rich and varied experiences you have orchestrated, the inimitable feeling of witnessing courage and daring in motion. All the stories, all thesmiles, sweaty hugs, warm blessings, great laughs…and just knowing you have created your own amazing and incalculable personal difference. What you will never truly appreciate, is the difference you have launched in others by your bold action.

So, 2017 is the Lucky 13 Lady Gratitude Journey. (Much like the vaunted Gratitude Journal, only more about running shoes than pencil lead!) I will send out a monthly Gratitude Index…I invite you to send me any Running and Being (thank you Dr. Sheehan) specific gratitude’s you would like to share. Let’s celebrate a brand new year and number 13 with the Canyon.

Running On…

Post Race Fun

Join us after the race for a community picnic hosted by the Camden Lyons and the Webber - Camden and Folwell Neighborhood Organizations. Free hotdogs, chips and lemonade for race participants. Then take a dip in the Webber Natural Swimming Pool, the first public swimming pool in North America to have a natural filtration system that uses plants in a nearby pond rather than chemicals to treat the water.
