Each year, Walker Methodist holds a 5k and 10k run and walk to help raise money for the Foundation. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate in the event. Four-legged friends, strollers, and runners and walkers of all ages are welcome. Join us!
The course around Lake Harriet is certified, electronically timed, and all participants receive a Walker Methodist t-shirt for their participation. There are prizes awarded to the top female and male finishers in each respective age category.
Many of our residents from various Walker Methodist communities are able to join us at Lake Harriet and enjoy the event’s festivities. They are great cheerleaders and serve as a heartfelt reminder of why so many of us gather together on Saturday morning – to help seniors live life to the fullest.
COME SUPPORT THE WALKER METHODIST FOUNDATION!
Whether running, walking, or something in between - every step you take will help support seniors living in our community. Enjoy a morning of fun with family and friends while supporting the Walker Methodist Foundation.
