Did you know that lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States?

Lung cancer research is funded by as much as 10 times less than other cancer fields? A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation and its signature event, the Twin Cities Lung Run/Walk, were created by lung cancer patients, survivors and their families to raise awareness about the disease and close the gap in research funding. The first Twin Cities Lung Run/Walk was held in 2007 and A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation was incorporated as its parent organization in 2008. Since then, the organization has raised close to $1,000,000 to support lung cancer research, improve disease awareness and bring hope and resources to patients and their families.
