What could be better than an invigorating run around beautiful Lake Calhoun on a Friday evening? An invigorating run with baklava and Greek dancing at the end, of course! Join us on September 6th for the Taste of Greece/Chloe’s Fight 5k and receive complimentary tickets to the Twin City’s largest celebration of Greek culture.
Bring your child early for the 1k at 6:15 then test your own speed at 6:30. Again this year, try to “beat the priest/deacon” to receive extra festival tickets. Every dollar of your registration will go directly to research being conducted at the University of Minnesota to find a cure for metachromatic leukodystrophy, a degenerative childhood disease that took the life of Chloe Sophia Barnes. To find out more about Chloe’s story and what her loved ones are doing in her honor go to www.chloesfight.org.
Cost: $25 early registration, $30 day of ($5 kid’s early registration, $10 day of). All kids will receive a toga!
