Please join us for our fourth annual Walk for Bladder Cancer!
The Institute for Prostate and Urologic Cancers at University of Minnesota Health is partnering with the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network to raise proceeds to benefit bladder cancer research and support programs for patients. We are honored to name our walk this year in memory of Donald Tremblay.
As you may know, bladder cancer is a very common, but rarely discussed disease. It is estimated that 73,000 new cases were diagnosed last year, and nearly 15,000 people died from this condition. Overall, bladder cancer is the fifth most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S. It poses a serious threat to men and women alike. Many treatments are available; however, there is no cure.
Our goal is to have our footsteps lead the way to a cure by raising awareness of this disease. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many.
