Anderson Race Management was established in 1996 after spending thousands of hours volunteering and working with races throughout Minnesota. Mary Anderson has served on such race committees as the Kaiser Roll, Trail Mix, Get in Gear, Avon-Twin Cities, Climb for a Cure and Relay for Life. Mary has directed races from 50 - 3,000 participants. Those races include Herman's Run, Avon 10K & 5K, Victory 10K & 5K, Melpomene 5K, Winter Carnival Half Marathon & Frozen 5K, PACE Race 5K, and Team Ortho Monster Dash to mention just a few.

Mary Anderson has served on the Minnesota Distance Running Association Board from 1996 to 2000 and served two years as the MDRA President.

Mary served on the Twin Cities Marathon Board of Directors for over 10 years and served in several Vice President positions over those years. She served as President of the Board during 2000 & 2001.

Other credential include serving on the inaugural Minnesota Elite Athlete Development Program and State Representative of the Road Runners Club of America.
